After earning a Bachelors Degree in Architectural Engineering from Vermont Technical College Chris worked in natural stone sales for four years. Wanting to pursue his passion for cooking he, along with his wife, began seeking out a restaurant location so that they could open a place of their own.
Samantha Chu
Owner, Co-founder
After earning a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and Technology from Vermont Technical College Samantha continued working at her family restaurant (China Station) for a few years, but always knew her entrepreneurial passion was to have a restaurant of her own. Growing up with her family owning and operating China Station Restaurant in Lebanon, NH helped prepare her for all the challenges faced when opening a new restaurant. After Chris and Samantha were married in 2011 they decided that they both would enjoy the challenge of owning and operating a restaurant of their own; soon after the concept for Noodle Station / The Swirl & Pearl was born.

China Station was established in 1988 by Samantha Chu's parents Peter and Nina Chu. Samantha grew up helping with various aspects of the business. This is one of the many reasons she was inspired to pursue her dream of being a small business owner.
Peter is from Hong Kong and Nina has strong Italian roots and was raised in Rhode Island. The inspiration for Noodle Station's eclectic Asian and Italian fare was largely from Samantha's parents and her heritage.

Our self serve frozen yogurt bar with 8 different rotating flavors and a topping bar with over 35 different options! We also specialize in Bubble Tea which is an Asian tea beverage that can be made iced, blended(slush), or hot and typically includes tapioca boba that sit at the bottom of the cup. We have over 20 Bubble Tea flavor options. You can also mix two flavors for even more flavor combinations!
